Sunflower was founded in 2010 by Philipp and Cole—residents of Florence’s Tenax Club and key figures in the Italian clubbing scene.
Over time, Sunflower has forged a distinct identity, expanding club culture beyond a single dimension: traditional clubs, open-air spaces, beach venues, sound gardens, festivals, and lush, green-filled locations have all served as diverse backdrops for the same party concept. From Tuscany and Versilia to international destinations like Croatia and Ibiza, the format has proven it can adapt to new settings while remaining instantly recognizable.
Daytime events have become one of its most natural expressions—extended sessions that carry the audience from the afternoon well into the night, featuring line-ups that balance international guests, stalwarts of the Italian scene, and the project’s own resident DJs.
Rather than simply following a rigid formula, Sunflower has cultivated its own unique party culture over the years, defined by careful musical curation, a focus on the overall experience, and a community that continues to share the same vision of what clubbing should be.
